Pipes
The first thing I thought of with the word pipes is the ocean of course. I didn't get a surfer in this one but the pipe looks pretty!
Me too! I am showing my lack of knowledge. More information please Wendy. Yet again we are learning from Project 52. You have captured the surf so well.
Sorry I was unclear before, but the pipe is the part of the wave that looks like a tube. If you look at the biggest wave in the back, part of the top is about to curl over the rest of the wave and becomes a bunch of white suds coming to the beach. Surfers like to ride that inside part before the wave comes crashing down calling it riding the pipe or tube. And thanks Betsy for the confidence, but I am pretty sure I am not that good!
Great shot Wendy!! Was thinking along that line but the ocean has been so calm here since the heat wave. And I would have never captured such a long pipeline nearly as well as you did.
I am afraid that I am showing my lack of knowledge as I don't know what a pipe is in surfing lingo? beautiful photo, beautiful ocean.
