Nature

Spent part of this week in Spokane, Washington for a wedding.  We got to explore the downtown area a bit.  The Spokane River goes right through it.  Lots of waterfalls along this little stretch of river.  My photos don't do it justice, especially with the quickly flowing water.

  1. This is beautiful. Isn't it amazing, the power of water? This photo really shows that.

  2. The power of Mother Nature when you took a photo of the Spokane river! This name reminds me of old times when we flew back from London to Los Angeles on the north polar route, and the first U.S town directly below us was Spokane, Wa. Is it phonetically Spok.ayne? or Spok..Ann?

  3. It was amazing how much water was going by. I sure wouldn't want to be in my canoe! London to LA over Spokane seems like a long way. Would think it would be shorter going a bit further south. It's pronounced Spoke-Ann. I would love to go back and explore more of the area.
