View from above
This is a view over Ashdown Forest, near where we live. The grey stone building in the middle is Ashdown House where Gemma went to school.
I think this is beautiful this time of year; I cannot imagine what it looks like in the summer. It must be spectacular. And because I am so nosy, I googled Ashdown Forest only to find it is the 100 Acre Wood from Winnie the Pooh! Is that true?
Yes it IS the 100 Acre wood! We used to go to Pooh Corner to buy candy and we used to throw twigs in the river and play "pooh sticks"... And yes, it is MAGICAL, especially in the spring (does summer really exist in England??) xoxo
My heart just skipped a beat. This makes me so very very happy. Thanks so much for posting this. Made my day

DeleteWow! What a photo
ReplyDeleteIt really does look beautiful. Almost like it belongs in a fairy tale.
ReplyDeleteJust like Gems my heart missed a beat - so many amazing memories and where I met my special friend Verushka and her super duper family.
