Rustic

Using the star filter again on my camera for the light that was on in the barn.

  1. Kim, I love the effect. I have looked up star filters and it seems to only be on photo shop. Do you have a special lens? A great rustic photo with the addition of the light which has brought the photo to life.

  2. The star filter I use is made by Rocketfish. Its an 8-point, circular filter ring that goes over the lens of my camera. You can get a UV filter, a polarizer, the star filter, or a light diffuser. I'm sure there are many out there. I like to mess around with the star filter but I also keep the UV filter on my lens all the time.

    1. The filter only creates the star effect on any pin point of light.
The effect on this is a bit of daguerreotype and a pinch of 60s. It was a beautiful morning to start with. Mother Nature always looks awesome in the morning ;)
