VICE

Our part of the world continues to be in the VICE-like grip of Winter.  After a few days of Spring we have had heavy snowfall and bitterly cold, strong winds.

    Excellent use of the word! We left there early yesterday and five miles down the road was like being in a very different part of the world!!
