Summer

This summer we have welcomed some new critters to our garden. Found them yesterday and had to look them up. They are caterpillars known as Parsleyworms (which would explain why we found them feasting on our parsley!). They change into Black Swallowtail butterflies. Can't wait to watch!

  2. Me too! They are practically neon. I love the contrast of the barn board they are on.
    This reminds me of the crayfish we studied with Carly. Something I now realize: creepy crawlies don't bother you.

  4. The colors are fabulous! I would think a jewelry designer could use the idea of their color and pattern and make a necklace or something (but obviously using other materials...!)
