Hole

This is an outdoor work of art by Michael Heizer  called" Levitated Mass" on permanent exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, which is where I happened to be yesterday.  It is a 340 ton granite rock suspended over a 15 foot long tunnel (hole to me!).Quite impressive to me....

    I can see why a 340 ton rock is a "permanent exhibit." Wouldn't want to move it!! Nice photo!

    That's is enormous. Nice job this week. Always am amazed by the cloudless, blue skies you get. Great back drop for the sculpture.
