Simplicity
The outhouse at the cottage. You get used to it when there is nothing else.
You are right but when we bought our property it came with a thunder box. Which is a toilet seat on a box over a hole in the ground. No walls. It did not take me long to upgrade to an outhouse. Maybe in the next two years we will have an actual toilet.
well, you might get used to it but I think a good old fashioned "modern" toilet is more simple than trying to forget that you hover over some not quite so simple material... hee heee... so right though, never matter when you have to go! Thank you Glenn for allowing us to spare the THUNDER box!
Pretty awesome setting! And, yep, that's simplicity!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I grew up with an outhouse, too, and that is simplicity!!
ReplyDeleteWas the outhouse at a cottage or at your house? Would you use an outhouse now or have you moved on from that experience?
DeleteAnything will do when you really have to go!

DeleteThat looks like the Cadillac of outhouses. Did glenn build it?
ReplyDeleteYou are a better woman than me. I'd rather go in the woods :)
