Shallow Depth of Field



As a 'point and shoot' photographer, to me this week's project was a huge challenge. I tried heaps of subjects and decided to settle on this image...not really to show off my photographic skills!
A close up of Acacia Zanzibarica or Whistling Thorn.  You can see the holes in the thorn bases that makes the whistling sound.  Giraffe love these trees, curling their lips around the stems and tearing off the leaves from between the thorns!! (No leaves in this photo!)

  3. I did a kim and went straight on to the internet - learnt nothing as far too many long words! Luv it JA - doesn't look like a point and shoot.

    1. Was trying to edit it but couldn't figure out how to do that... Anyway, love the picture! I wouldn't want my mouth, or my fingers even, to be any where near those thorns!
