(I hope I don't get kicked out of the blog for this one!!) These lovely ladies line the edge of a museum in San Diego's beautiful Balboa Park. A whole roof top of naked gals! I wonder why the architect did this? If anyone knows, let me know! When my boys were little, they always had to giggle when we walked by!
I pointed them out to my hubby the last time we were down there. He had never seen them before. Have you ever noticed they have very masculine faces?
ReplyDeleteSo this is whence your recurring dream comes from!!!!! Great picture, Betsy.
ReplyDeleteI think this photo might get my man to come to San Diego! Luv it!
ReplyDeleteCertainly lots of edges and corners as well as CURVES.
ReplyDeleteGasp! Scandalous! Great pic! (I had one Balboa Park tour guide tell me they were originally men but after the public objected they were later remade into women....huh?)
ReplyDeleteoh my... scandal on the blog! Its a great shot... maybe would have fit under "curves" as well :)
ReplyDeleteThey do look rather manly now that I notice closely. My kids and I were always too embarrassed to study these, but giggles were plentiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
So fun and well captured!!! Have seen these faces in Paris before , will ask my native friends.
