Corners and Edges
Not an easy subject for us here in Tanzania. However, we found this man building his new house in a village near the forest close to us called, Gongo. I can see the corners, but I'm not so sure about the edges!! They build these with no tape measures and hardly any tools.....no nails either...everything is tied together with 'rope' made from wild vines harvested in the forest. Amazingly clever.

A true "green" house. So neat to watch it being build from what's at hand nearby.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Also amazing is the fact that I "know" someone from Tanzania!!
ReplyDeleteBetsy, we should go visit our new Tanzanian friend some day...

ReplyDeleteIt is not just the rain I would worry about but high winds too. Ingenious building.
