Details

I like all of the details a tomato plant has when you look close enough ("furry" stems and tiny white dots on their skins); soon they will be ripe!

This would appear to be a photo of a photo, but it is in fact an excellent example of Hyperrealism Art - this being by Tom Martin entitled 'First Night in New York' - amazing DETAIL of a bar in New York.

....of the rain streaming down the window. You can guarantee it will rain as soon as they have been cleaned!

Newborn baby details - little fingers, squishy little lips, beautiful little eyelashes, peach fuzz hair.......so many precious details that they grow out of so fast!

We have quite a few of these in our backyard which drive me crazy, however, up close I love the detail of them.

(I seem to be having the same issues as Kristin had last week. When I look at my photo on the desktop, it is quite clear yet when I post....not so much.)

Dinner

My dinner served to me this evening. 1. It was awesome! 2. It was made for me, and served for me. Of course, I had to take this picture!

It's barbecue season, and for us that means lots of fresh sweet corn on the cob! (and lots of dental floss!)

There are those certain dinners when even the very best of savory and greatest of sweet soon pale in comparison to time seemingly lost in conversation with a dear friend. The meal was delicious, the dinner was even better.

(For some reason Blogger and I are in a fight today. He has been very difficult and just won't let me post this photo without making it all blurry and bad quality. This is my third try--now trying it via computer in lieu of my phone. If the photo is still looking crappy in quality, I apologize but give up.)

Sorry Benjamin for duplicating but who does not love pizza for dinner. Your first slice of pizza was taken at the same spot ours was. Do you think that is the way that everyone does it?
