A gift from my niece...I said it to my nieces and nephews when they were young/little...now it has been shortened to "...love you".  Through the years I added, "...gazillion times" for my children.

Romance? It's not really my thing.... But LOVE, well my house is exploding with it....and it all started with these rings... (Actually, it started in the school that I work in 6 years prior to my wedding  but I thought a picture of a school would make a silly romance/love picture.)

What to do on a snowy weekend in Brooklyn? Make a big pot of chili, take a pic of it in the fresh snow for this post, and then play in the snow and enjoy the chili all weekend.

I had BIG plans for this theme-red is mine and my youngest son's favorite color, and red velvet cake our favorite treat(and we have the best bakery who makes it to perfection right around the corner). We live among a ton of red and white barns, and where delicious red and white wines are made....but the blizzard got in the way. And my husband is telling me I will not be going anywhere today and probably tomorrow so here is my back up picture. Red and White Curly Ribbon that was suppose to be used to decorate for my son's 5th birthday party that I had to cancel because of the storm. Maybe tomorrow I will be able to get out there and share some of the awesome things that are red and white that surround me!

I found this post difficult. I am an inexperienced photographer and it is not easy taking good pictures in the bright snow. I am learning all about the different settings. We are in the middle of a snow storm. 30 centimeters (12 inches) expected.. School closures and hundreds of flights cancelled.
