I wanted to go out and find something to post that depicted love, but I got too busy.  Here is one from when we lived in Hawaii.  These two got married in one of the most beautiful places I've seen, and it was a beautiful ceremony on top of that.  So romantic!

This is another work project well timed to the themes of this blog.  It's the newest fragrance launch from Coach, simply called, Coach Love.  Milton Glaser designed the logo by transforming the  Coach C logo into a heart.   You may be familiar with another work of his, the iconic I (heart) NY graphic design.

I had BIG plans for this theme-red is mine and my youngest son's favorite color, and red velvet cake our favorite treat(and we have the best bakery who makes it to perfection right around the corner). We live among a ton of red and white barns, and where delicious red and white wines are made....but the blizzard got in the way. And my husband is telling me I will not be going anywhere today and probably tomorrow so here is my back up picture. Red and White Curly Ribbon that was suppose to be used to decorate for my son's 5th birthday party that I had to cancel because of the storm. Maybe tomorrow I will be able to get out there and share some of the awesome things that are red and white that surround me!

I found this post difficult. I am an inexperienced photographer and it is not easy taking good pictures in the bright snow. I am learning all about the different settings. We are in the middle of a snow storm. 30 centimeters (12 inches) expected.. School closures and hundreds of flights cancelled.

When I asked James what his thoughts were for this week's theme, he did not even hesitate...the Eli Manning jersey, was his reply.  James is a Giants fan, though all of his friends route for the Jets.  Eli Manning sent this jersey along with a beautiful handwritten note to James.  What a guy!

My work-life happens to fit perfectly into this week's theme, as this week for me has been all about launching the first fragrance from Italian fashion house, Marni.  Seen here through polka-dots and mirrored reflections in the windows of Saks Fifth Avenue's flagship store on 5th Avenue.

"Hot Lips" salvia blooming in my garden. See how it gets its name? It's really a tiny flower - as big as your thumbnail. But the hummingbirds like it!

You have to be a certain type of crazy to stand in 26F without gloves, on the side of a busy road, waiting for the American flag to flap in the wind just so....  and voila... we have red and white.

Ever notice that raindrops on a window take on the color of whatever is behind them?

This is a close-up of water drops on the surface of clear glass.  Inside the window was a red heart glued on a white card.  Honestly I wasn't expecting the heart to be so visible in each water drop... that part was a pleasant surprise.

Camellias are in bloom in San Diego and they are gorgeous.  I found this bush that has been shaped into a tree overflowing with Red Camellias .  The white picket fence adds the perfect touch!

Hello Kitty came out and saw her shadow today...  I usually can't remember if that means more winter or not until Kitty's friend Phil comes out and the newspapers report if he saw his shadow or not.  Now I know that it means no more winter.  YAY!  I'm getting tired of wearing my jacket here in San Diego!
